Buckaroo Bling | Salt Canyon | Slaton, TX

One of my most favorite kind of shoots are commercial ones where I can be creative and bring a vision to life. This year I’m starting it off with a bang in a collaboration with Montana based handmade jewelry artisan Jelena who is the owner of Buckaroo Bling. Her vision for these are traditional western styles with a modern and beautiful twist on them. The pieces are so thoughtfully put together in such a cohesive way that you can mix and match the collections on a whim and they all look simply amazing together. They’re also made with beautiful copper, silver, genuine cut leather, and beautiful turquoise and beading. I love the detail in the coil work and the complimentary colors of each piece because they simply “pop”. It’s such a classic yet modern western style that can really be worn from western to even boho styles because of the beautiful fringe work. Anyways, I need to show you this, can we start with the adorable packaging? When I received these pieces in I thought it was so well put together and cute that I had to take photos of everything out of the box together first. The pouches even coordinate with the turquoise used in the jewelry pieces! Yes, I totally did squeal at how cute everything was opening it all up! It was like receiving a present in the mail! And who doesn’t love presents?

For this photo shoot I got in contact with two amazing models that I’ve had the honor of working with before on things within our local network, Karina and Chaihann. If anyone could pull off that modern and gorgeous western style I knew that these two definitely could! I mean, they’re amazing and talented local models.

There are two main colors that I got in. One is a cool blue on silver and the other is a bold red on warm bright copper. Which one is your favorite? I honestly couldn’t decide between them!

Don’t you love how they catch the wind?

Anyways, this isn’t everything – you’ll just have to follow on Instagram and Facebook to see more, but here are a few more of my favorites from this amazing photo shoot. We had so much fun during this and I hope you enjoy the rest of the sneak peek for it. You can follow Buckaroo Bling on Instagram HERE or Facebook HERE. 1. You, ladies, knocked this one out of the ballpark! It was great working with you, and I hope to continue working with you, Linda, for any future new product I put out. For those who are on the fence about working with Linda, be it engagement/wedding photos or commercial work, get off that fence, and give her a call. Linda is professional, easy to work with, and definitely has a very artistic approach to photography. She managed to capture the exact mood I was hoping for in this photo shoot. Also, my amateur photographer husband was marveling at those shots where it seems the camera was pointing into the light (sun in this case), contrary to everything they teach in those photography courses for general public. Just look at the small sampling above! I think they are absolutely gorgeous.
